1956 Gretsch Electromatic Corvette

I brought this one back from the dead! I bought it as a husk so the only original parts are the body, neck, binding, and tailpiece. TV Jones dyna mount filtertron that sounds totally KILLER! CTS pots with Orange Drop Capacitor, Grover Sta-Tite gears so no additional holes were drilled, Custom Pickguard from Precision Guitar. This thing is so fun to play! There are some dents and dings, there are some nicks on the back of the neck and a little fret wear but absolutely nothing that affects playability. Action is set medium and it plays awesome! Here is the shocker, NO BINDING ROT! I've never seen a Gretsch this old that didn't have binding rot. Considering it's age with no breaks or repairs it's in pretty awesome shape. I mean she's been played but taken care of too. Has a new Hard Case.
